Do you go the extra mile to create a memorable guest experiences? We are looking for several team members to join our motivated and vibrant Food & Beverage Team in the combined role of Food & Beverage/Room Attendant.
The role is located in Lake Tekapo, and is a full time and permanent position offering 30 guaranteed hours per week. The hourly pay rate for the role is between $24-$25 per hour.
As our next Food & Beverage/Room Attendant, you will:
1. Deliver service excellence, by providing passionate, knowledgeable and friendly service to external and internal guests at all times
2. Ensure smooth and efficient food and beverage service including anticipating guest needs before being asked
3. Process all charges associated with the service of food and beverage on the cashiering system and report any discrepancies
4. Maintain strong product knowledge of the ingredients, method of preparation and presentation of all items on the menu and buffet
5. Be comprehensively trained on how to maintain the level of guest service and care necessary to be put into this role
6. Be required to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
7. Ensure high cleanliness and productivity standards are met and kept in accordance to company guidelines
8. Maintain and follow health, safety and security procedures at all times
9. Always present yourself in a put-together, professional manner while retaining a high regard for personal grooming
What we are looking for:
10. Previous experience in a similar position is advantageous however not essential as full training will be provided. No prior experience or qualifications are required
11. Passion and enthusiasm for work in the hospitality and food industry
12. Ability to work across a varied roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
