Duration: Initially 3-month, with scope of extension/permanent
We're excited to be partnering exclusively with a highly respected global business that is strengthening its UK finance function, and we’re looking for a technically strong Financial Reporting Manager to step into a high-impact role covering statutory reporting, month-end leadership, taxation, along systems and process improvement.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) who enjoys depth, accuracy, and continuous improvement - while also getting involved in a major ERP implementation that will shape the future of the finance function.
The Role
As Financial Reporting Manager, you will take ownership of:
* Leading month-end close and delivering accurate management accounts
* Assist with the annual statutory accounts preparation and tax returns across UK entities
* Complex reconciliations, IFRS support, and technical analysis
* Overseeing AP, AR, cash management, and financial operations
* Driving system and process improvements in partnership with IT
* Supporting audits, external reporting, and Group submissions
This role offers both technical challenge and the chance to influence how finance operates as the business grows and evolves.
The Ideal candidate will be
* ACA/ACCA qualified (essential)
* 2-5+ years’ experience in a similar technical role
* Hands-on exposure with month-end close (essential)
* Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS desirable)
* Experience with large ERP systems, such as Oracle, SAP, D365
* Exposure dealing with Auditors
* High attention to detail, accuracy, and a proactive mindset
