We're looking for an experienced Lead Façades & Glazing Designer to join a leading specialist contractor delivering complex, high-profile developments across the UK.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of façade design delivery, working across large-scale projects from concept through to construction, while progressing your career in a technically strong and supportive environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Leading façade design outputs across multiple projects
* Producing detailed drawings and technical documentation
* Developing designs from concept through to construction issue
* Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and site teams
* Coordinating with architects and consultants to resolve design challenges
* Ensuring full compliance with UK regulations and industry standards
* Supporting system development, material selection, and value engineering
* Attending design and coordination meetings
* Managing design records, revisions, and documentation accuracy

What We're Looking For
* Experience in façade, curtain walling, cladding, or envelope design
* Strong knowledge of façade systems and installation methods
* Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit or 3D tools advantageous)
* Understanding of UK building regulations
* Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings
* Strong communication and coordination skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
