Customer Account Specialist
Salary: Up to £29,000
Location: Worksop
Hours: Full-time, Permanent
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Customer Account Specialist to manage and develop key client accounts for our client in Worksop.
Key responsibilities:
1. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts.
2. Provide Hypercare support to customers requiring additional assistance.
3. Manage customer mailboxes in line with operational requirements.
4. Collaborate with operations to ensure accurate and timely management of customs documentation.
5. Monitor service level agreements in real time to ensure performance standards are met.
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
7. Act as a mediator to resolve complex customs or service-related issues.
8. Communicate business updates and changes clearly and effectively.
9. Conduct spot-check calls and proactively monitor repeated or unusual account activity.
10. Maintain accurate customer records and follow up on missing information promptly.
11. Report system issues to management.
12. Maintain CRM records, ensuring real-time updates of customer interactions.
13. Manage onboarding and handover of new clients to ensure a smooth transition.
14. Support operational teams with additional tasks as required.
The successful candidate:

16. Has a good understanding of customs processes through experience and/or qualification.
17. Ideally has experience supporting or managing client accounts.
18. Communicates confidently with a range of stakeholders.
19. Is proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.

21. Possesses excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
22. Works effectively under pressure and can prioritise multiple tasks.
