We are seeking a motivated and dedicated teacher to join a dynamic Science Department in a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school.
This is an exciting opportunity to teach Biology across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for Key Stage 5 depending on experience. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Biology Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging and practical Biology lessons that foster curiosity and critical thinking.
* Differentiate instruction to support all learners and maximise pupil progress.
* Monitor, assess, and report on student achievement in line with school policy.
* Contribute to extra-curricular science activities, trips, or clubs.
* Collaborate with colleagues to promote a strong science curriculum across the department.
Ideal Biology Teacher:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Has a degree in Biology or a related life science subject.
* Experience teaching Biology at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).
* Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Biology.
* High expectations for all students and strong classroom management skills as a Biology Teacher.
