An opportunity to work for a long-established fit out contractor in the retail market. Projects are fast track and include new store developments and upgrades in live environments throughout London and the South East.
The ideal candidate will be currently working for a contractor or specialist contractor and have recent experience in the retail sector in either a Site Management or Project Management capacity. A formal qualification in construction is not a prerequisite, you could be a time served tradesman/woman with proven managerial/supervisory experience.
You will receive a structured familiarisation programme and will work closely with an Account Manager/Director, who will introduce you to the business and key clients. You will run your own contracts, working closely with their in-house design and commercial teams. xsngvjr
Key Responsibilities: -
-Resource Allocation for materials, labour and sub-contractors
-Produce detailed pre-construction programmes and incorporate Health & Safety plan/CDM
-Create detailed method statements
-Attend pre-start meetings with clients
-Value engineering on construction and methodology
-Contract administration
-Operational management of subcontractors and labour
-Monitor building control compliance
-Work closely with surveyor and assist in final account preparation
-Understanding of JCT Contracts
