Grounds Maintenance Team Leader
Location: Sutton, SM3 8QS
Hourly Rate: £15.50PH
Contract type: Temp-Perm, Fulltime
Working hours: 40 hours Monday - Friday
About the role
As a Team Leader you will be supervising your small team and working alongside them to provide various grounds maintenance services in and around Cheam: grass cutting (ride on and pedestrian), strimming, shrub and border maintenance, hedge cutting, litter picking. Requirements
1. Prior experience within Grounds Maintenance with a can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset
2. Previous experience in a Team Leader or Supervisor position within Grounds Maintenance or a similar industry
3. Ensure all tasks are completed to the required standard, with a good eye for detail.
4. Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
5. The ability to be able to work independently but also as part of a wider team
6. Proficient in problem solving and dealing with complex situations
7. A full valid UK driving licence is essential
8. Experience with ride-on and grass cutting machinery required.
