Qualified Music Teacher – Secondary School Location: Darlington Start: ASAP / Easter / September Contract: Full-time or long-term supply Salary: MPS/UPS or £168–£261 per day (depending on experience) We are seeking an inspiring and qualified Music Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Darlington. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire the next generation of performers, composers and musicians across Key Stages 3 and 4. The Role You will: Deliver engaging Music lessons across KS3 and KS4 Teach practical and theory elements including performance, composition and musical appreciation Prepare students for GCSE Music assessments and performances Foster creativity, confidence and musical expression in the classroom Contribute to concerts, productions, ensembles or extra-curricular music clubs Assess progress and provide clear feedback to support student achievement The Ideal Candidate Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent Experience teaching secondary Music (KS3–KS4) Strong classroom management and behaviour strategies Passion for developing students’ musical talent and confidence Ability to contribute to the wider musical life of the school Why Apply?
