Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the national curriculum. Teach across KS3 and KS4 (ability to teach Biology, Chemistry, or Physics specialism at KS4 desirable). Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students. Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and learning. Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development, and enrichment opportunities. Participate fully in school life, including meetings, professional development, and pastoral responsibilities. Promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture that supports student wellbeing and personal growth. About You Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. A degree in a Science-related discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Combined Science). Strong subject knowledge and a passion for engaging young people in STEM learning. Proven ability (or potential) to deliver consistently high-quality teaching. Excellent classroom management and organisational skills. Commitment to continued professional development and reflective practice. A positive, team-oriented approach to working within the wider school community
