Quality Inspector
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Quality Inspector to join our Bingley based client for a 6-month contract (possibility of extension)
Working Monday to Thursday 7am 4pm with a 1pm finish on Fridays
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform accurate measurements using inspection equipment such as micrometres, calipers, verniers, shadow graphs, thread wires and gauges, plug gauges, surface testers, CMM machines, and other measuring tools.
2. Inspect products and materials and reject any items that do not meet quality standards.
3. Raise non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure proper containment and control of non-conforming components or products.
4. Provide clear and accurate feedback to the shop floor regarding manufacturing errors or quality issues.
5. Review work orders, engineering drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs) to ensure all customer requirements are fully understood and met, including reports and testing requirements.
6. Maintain and verify Material Reference Numbers (MFLs) to ensure full traceability is achieved.
