So, what will you be doing?
Lead and manage people, processes, and systems, in order to ensure goods are received, stored, dispensed and dispatched safely and in line with the company standards and productivity targets are met.
1. Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
2. Ensuring health and safety is it's incorporated into normal business activities and that it is given equal priority to all other aspects of business management.
3. Ensuring adequate supervision, information and instruction for all employees, temporary employees, contractors, and visitors in their area of control.
4. Ensuring that all members of their team are aware of their responsibilities and have received appropriate training.
5. Implementing disciplinary procedures, when appropriate if health and safety rules are contravened.
