The WISHH Charity is looking for an experienced and dynamic fundraising coordinator with knowledge and experience of charitable fundraising and considerable energy and enthusiasm that will inspire patients, visitors and the local community to choose to support the WISHH Charity. The post‑holder will have experience of working as part of a successful team and will contribute to the successful performance of the Charity by developing and managing a variety of fundraising campaigns and initiatives to develop a range of income streams and providing a positive and engaging supporter experience that champions the values and ethos of the Charity.
This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone with initiative, creativity, and a passion for making a difference in their local community. The post is an important link between the Charity, hospital employees and the local community. The post‑holder will build an understanding of NHS donor audiences and their motivations to give and will deliver a seamless and unique donor experience to every individual connecting with the Charity, ensuring that respectful, genuine and engaging relationships are formed.
Responsibilities
* Develop and manage a variety of fundraising campaigns and initiatives to create diverse income streams.
* Provide a positive and engaging supporter experience that champions the values and ethos of the Charity.
* Inspire patients, visitors and the local community to support the WISHH Charity.
* Build an understanding of NHS donor audiences and their motivations to give.
* Deliver a seamless and unique donor experience, ensuring respectful, genuine and engaging relationships.
* Work closely with hospital colleagues at Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital.
* Work independently and autonomously under the direction of the Charity Chief Executive, ensuring all projects align with Charity guidelines and charity law.
* Mobilise fundraising projects and initiatives in a creative and innovative environment.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experienced fundraising coordinator with knowledge and experience of charitable fundraising.
* Dynamic, energetic and enthusiastic with a strong motivation to inspire and engage supporters.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also functioning independently and autonomously.
* Initiative, creativity and a passion for making a difference in the local community.
* Understanding of charity law and a commitment to safeguarding the reputation and standing of the WISHH Charity.
