The Role
This important role within the Community Occupational Therapy team will see you supporting Occupational Therapists in the delivery of patient‑centred care. You will assist clients in achieving their goals by providing tailored in‑home support, which may include equipment setup and safe utilisation, as well as falls prevention and fatigue management education. Additionally, you will support a range of therapeutic activities, document progress notes, and collaborate with the Occupational Therapist in client assessments and reviews.
Responsibilities
* Assist with the daily functioning of Allied Health Professional services.
* Undertake tasks under the direction of Allied Health Professionals, supporting clients in their homes and in other community settings.
Qualifications
* Certificate IV in Health Service Assistance (Allied Health Assistance) or equivalent qualification.
* Tertiary student of a relevant allied health course at a recognised tertiary institution.
Salary & Benefits
Permanent part‑time, day worker position, working 33 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as we can onboard you.
Salary: $67,193 to $72,126 pro rata per annum. 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
