* We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate General Manager to lead our small domiciliary care branch. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality care delivery, compliance with regulatory standards, and the growth of the service. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong people management, business acumen, and a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable individuals in their own homes.
* Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all aspects of branch operations including care delivery, staffing, compliance, and budgeting.
* Ensure the service meets CQC standards and maintains a "Good" or "Outstanding" rating.
* Recruit, train, and manage care staff and office personnel.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, commissioners, and other professional bodies.
* Monitor and improve service quality through audits, feedback, and continuous improvement plans.
* Manage scheduling and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet client needs.
* Drive business growth through marketing, networking, and tendering opportunities.
* Handle complaints and incidents professionally and in line with company policy.
* Person Specification
* Proven experience in domiciliary care or health and social care management.
* NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care or equivalent (or willingness to work towards).
* Strong understanding of CQC regulations and safeguarding practices.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
* A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a commitment to person-centred care.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
