About the Role
This role involves working with all rugby programmes at the University of Nottingham to develop an inclusive campaign focused on player welfare and promoting a positive rugby culture. We are seeking a student to focus on:
1. Developing the Rugby Minds campaign across UoNSport rugby programmes, emphasizing welfare support and positive culture change;
2. Creating and coordinating a representative Rugby Minds committee to support campaign objectives;
3. Organizing training and developmental opportunities;
4. Promoting engagement across rugby programmes;
5. Implementing and expanding volunteering opportunities with the committee;
6. Monitoring, reporting, and evaluating work programmes.

We are seeking passionate and committed students to become Rugby Minds Ambassadors. As an ambassador, you will promote mental health awareness within your rugby club, foster a caring culture, and support peers on and off the pitch. This role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on student sport while developing leadership, communication, and well-being advocacy skills.
All Ambassadors will represent the UoN Sport department and serve as student representatives for their area. Successful candidates will join a dedicated team, supported by UoN Sport staff and personal development programmes. This role is ideal for proactive individuals seeking workplace experience.
About You
Qualifications:
* Current undergraduate/postgraduate student at the University of Nottingham (Essential);
* Minimum of 1 year remaining on degree course (Essential).
Knowledge:
* Understanding of University rugby programmes (Essential);
* Knowledge of welfare support services (Essential);
* Knowledge of University marketing networks (Desirable);
* Knowledge of UoN Sport and RFU programmes (Desirable).
Skills:
* Strong communication skills tailored to target audiences (Essential);
* Proficient in Office applications (Essential);
* Report writing and presentation skills (Essential);
* Design skills such as Adobe Photoshop (Desirable);
* Social media management (Desirable).
