SEMH Primary Teacher (QTS)
Prospero Teaching is recruiting two dedicated and resilient Primary Teachers (QTS) to work in a specialist school setting in the Salisbury area. The school supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, providing a structured, nurturing environment designed to help students re‑engage with education.
You will take responsibility for delivering a primary curriculum adapted to meet individual needs, focusing on building positive relationships, emotional regulation, and academic progress. This role requires a calm, consistent, and highly supportive approach, with an emphasis on behaviour management and student wellbeing.

The Role:
Deliver a primary curriculum tailored to pupils with SEMH needs
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
Support pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour management
Build strong, positive relationships with students
Create a safe, structured, and consistent classroom environment
Work closely with support staff and pastoral teams
Track and assess progress in both academic and personal development
Follow safeguarding and school policies consistently
Ideal Candidate:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working with SEMH, behaviour needs, or additional needs
Strong behaviour management and de‑escalation skills
Patient, resilient, and adaptable approach
Confident working in a structured, specialist environment
Committed to supporting both academic and emotional development
Suitable for experienced teachers or confident ECTs

Position: SEMH Primary Teacher (QTS)
Location: Salisbury
Start Date: ASAP
Working Pattern: Full‑time
Pay Rate: £32,916 - £51,047 per annum (M1-U3)
