PHARMACY DISPENSER
MUST BE NVQ 2 or NVQ 3 Qualified in Pharmacy Dispensing Services
Full Time Position Hours Per week
Salary negotiable on experience and qualifications
4 Weeks Holiday per Year + BH
Duties and responsibilities will include:
* Label, dispense and endorse prescriptions in accordance with standard operating procedures to ensure safe supply to patients in an efficient and accurate manner.
* Ensure the safe supply and appropriate storage of medicines.
* Ordering sufficient medication and stock in line with company procedures to meet customer demand and date/usage checking to maximise availability and minimise waste.
* Create and update patient medication records in accordance with data protection principles to ensure patient confidentiality.
* Assist where necessary with the preparation of monitored dosage systems to benefit patients on multiple medication regimes.
* Check endorsements and patient declarations on prescriptions and file correctly to ensure maximum payments are received with minimal losses.
* Process invoices and paperwork in a timely manner following company procedures.
* Undertake all necessary housekeeping duties so that dispensary areas are kept clean and tidy.
* Work as part of a team and actively demonstrate a willingness to support and achieve the overall business objectives.
* Assist in implementation of statutary responsibility of the pharmacy H&S, GPhC, Terms of Service
The Pharmacy Assistant/Dispenser will have:
* At least 24 months experience working in a community Pharmacy.
* An NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent (e.g. Dispensary Assistants Course)
* Be able to work as part of a team and take your own initiative when required.
* The ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
* Attention to detail is a must.
* A can do attitude to assist where needed.
* Basic Microsoft Office/IT skills necessary. Training will be provided on internal software.
* A professional manner and good quality written and verbal English language skills.
* Have awareness of all essencial and advanced services, PQS, DSP, CPAF
Pay negotiable depending on experience.

Pay: £12.21-£13.30 per hour
