A market leader in AV & IT furniture in the education and private sector working with over 90% of Universities in the UK is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join its successful, stable, and thriving sales office.
You will work in close collaboration with your Internal Account Manager to develop relationships with existing and prospective customers to maximise new business opportunities. In return, you will receive a salary of up to £45,000 per annum, circa £15,000 bonus, a pension scheme, a car allowance, mobile phone and a laptop.
This role is fully remote, but the successful applicant needs to live commutable to London and surrounds.
As Regional Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Managing and maximising visit opportunities by excellent territory management taking time to explore other avenues of sale using products from all client’s brands.
Developing existing customers relationships to gain referrals to other decision makers within the same business to explore additional projects and increase spend per customer
Providing a consultative approach to the customer to maximise the opportunity and meet the needs of the customer.
Recording all the relevant information from customers, utilising the company’s standard procedures and software so that any follow-up action is effective, efficient and within agreed timescales.
Ensuring that your sales pipeline is accurate and kept up to date at all times and you are meeting or exceeding targets.
Achieving base premium expectations against target.
Prospecting new customers with a view to opening ‘new business’ accounts.
Demonstrating products at every available opportunity.
Supporting other team members in the achievement of company goals.
We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager with the following skills and experience:
A proven track record in Sales. Experience with selling into the Education Sector would be an advantageous.
Possess good listening and questioning techniques.
Sales-orientated and possess drive and determination to succeed.
Outgoing, an excellent verbal communicator with an ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
Pleasant, confident manner.
Conscientious and resilient with a “will do” mentality.
IT literate and ability to pick up technical knowledge quickly.
