💼 About the Role:
We're seeking a skilled and experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our Adults team in South Devon. This role plays a critical part in leading practice, supporting staff, and ensuring quality service delivery under the Care Act 2014 ⚖️
🔍 Your Responsibilities:
🧠 Complex case work including Safeguarding, MCA, DoLS, and Best Interest decisions
📋 Manage caseloads, waiting lists, and reviewing functions
👥 Provide support, supervision, and daily guidance to team members
🔄 Step in for the Team Manager when needed
📞 Support the team's duty function and service delivery
✅ Requirements:
🎓 Qualified Social Worker (SWE Registered)
📅 5+ years post-qualified experience
📚 Strong legal literacy - Care Act, DoLS, MCA, Safeguarding
📈 Effective management, leadership, and supervision skills
🧾 Enhanced DBS (Children & Adults Barred List)
📍 Able to commit to 2.5 days/week in the office (rest remote)
