The Role The TalkTalk Consumer business is embarking on an industry leading transformation journey to provide best in breed full fibre (FTTP) to the nation, with a clear mission and vision to be the most recommended connectivity provider in the UK. The Product Manager - CPE will: Support the delivery of our CPE roadmap, for both new acq and in-life Facilitate the adoption of New Ways of Working in Product, and positively contribute to the switching between the various transition states Work closely with the Head of Products as well as a cross-functional team to define and then deliver the CPE roadmap Be an expert of their product area The role involves interaction, collaboration, and establishment of fruitful relations with internal stakeholders (Technology, Transformation, Commercial, Operations, CX, Finance etc). Listening carefully to our customers and partners, you will understand their needs and work with your commercial colleagues to create a compelling product portfolio, as well as work with the wider Product Team to make sure the portfolio is fit for purpose and delivers against our KPIs such as Net Promoter Score & Churn improve. The Team The CPE team sits within the wider Product & Transformation business unit, enabling delivery against our ambitious 5-year strategic plan. We are critical in supporting the leap to full fibre (FTTP) and to other new technologies like SoGEA, through the delivery of key services for customers such as CPE to enable connectivity in the home as well as additional propositions for full home WiFi coverage. Providing the best connectivity for our customers is our key priority and we are doing so by owning our roadmaps, being accountable of our products, providing customer lens in the decision making, constantly improving experience, keeping a close eye to our competition, adopting new modern ways of working and making sure our products are simple, affordable, fair and reliable. Key Responsibilities The Product Manager - CPE is accountable for the strategic direction, roadmap and ultimately the development, through collaborative working with your colleagues, of a market-beating product portfolio, in line with the company business plan and targets. They own the customer experience and drive the development and competitiveness of our offering. As well as in-life management of CPE This role is accountable for: Comprehensive continuous product discovery, including the features, customer journey and CX required to be successful, working alongside the Product Owners, CX managers, UX/UI Managers, Journey Managers, Tech, Transformation, Commercial and Growth Producing themes that are well understood and articulated in Epics & Features that support the success of our customer propositions Leading on the development of the supporting business cases Actively contributing to the prioritisation decisions Liaise with Procurement, Supply Chain & Operational functions to ensure timely delivery along with KPI driven scorecards on performance Ongoing Product Lifecycle Management of all in-life products which includes gathering and prioritising internal and external customer requirements Reviewing and analysing competition product sets (with insight and analytics) to ensure TalkTalk products remain contemporary Building solid and fruitful relations with their stakeholders to drive our goals Reporting to the Head of Product, this is a highly visible role, responsible for managing the intricate combination of hardware and software of our CPE estate. To be successful, you will need to have: Product Management experience, demonstrate understanding of customer needs, product-market fit, deriving competitive advantage, creation of an excellent CX with a clear focus on delivering what customers want, as well as lifecycle management Excellent analysis, planning, presentation and execution skills, including ability to develop business cases, as well as understanding of the product discovery process and working with agile delivery teams Comfortable with leading highly complex, technical projects and ability to manage supplier relationships Strong stakeholder management skills, able to communicate and evangelise the vision, the strategy and the roadmap, while taking on all feedback and stakeholder input Good understanding of telcos/ISPs industry and market, online security, relevant technologies As a recognised Top 50 Inclusive Employer in the UK, we know that diversity means success and innovation.
