Job Title: Year 4 Class TeacherLocation: Wandsworth, London Contract: February - End of Academic Term Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm Salary: £150 - £170 per day We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 Class Teacher to join our vibrant primary school located in the heart of Wandsworth, London. This is a temporary position commencing in February until the end of the academic term. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and a deep commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for our pupils. Key Responsibilities: •Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the National Curriculum. •Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and additional support where necessary. •Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulus-rich classroom environment. •Implement effective classroom management strategies. •Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to support children’s educational journey. •Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the broader life of the school through extracurricular activities. •Adhere to school policies and educational regulations. Qualifications and Skills: •Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. •Previous experience in teaching Year 4 or a similar Key Stage 2 setting. •Strong understanding of the current curriculum and assessment framework. •Excellent organisational and communicative abilities. •A proactive approach to continuous professional development.
