JOB TITLE: Civil / Structural Draughtsman
LOCATION: Middlesbrough

Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Civil / Structural Draughtsman with 3–4 years of industry experience to join our client's growing team. This role is ideal for someone looking to further develop their technical capability while working on a variety of civil and structural projects. You will support engineers and project teams by producing accurate, high-quality drawings and models across multiple design stages .
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed civil and structural drawings and 3D models for:
* New facility structures
* Structural repairs and modifications
* Foundation and substructure work
* Produce GA drawings, details, reinforcement layouts, and steelwork models from engineering input
* Develop fabrication and construction drawing packages
* Work closely with engineers to translate design concepts into accurate technical drawings
* Update and revise drawings as designs evolve
* Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure drawing consistency and clash avoidance
* Maintain drawing standards and document control procedures
Required Skills & Experience
* 3–4 years’ experience in civil and/or structural drafting
* Strong working knowledge of:
* Revit
* Advance Steel
* 2D AutoCAD
* Experience producing drawings for structural elements and foundations
* Ability to interpret engineering calculations and mark-ups
* Good technical detailing skills
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Able to manage multiple drawing packages and deadlines
Desirable (Not Essential)
* Experience with ArcGIS
* Exposure to BIM coordination workflows
* Experience on facility, industrial, or infrastructure projects
