GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a school in Mansfield. This role provides the opportunity to deliver high-quality mathematics lessons, nurture students’ problem-solving skills, and foster a positive and engaging learning environment.
Role Overview:
As a Maths Teacher, you will plan and deliver lessons that challenge and motivate students, encouraging them to develop confidence and resilience in mathematics. You will support pupils in understanding key concepts, applying problem-solving techniques, and achieving their academic goals.
As a Maths Teacher, you will:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging maths lessons across different age groups and abilities.
* Use innovative teaching methods to explain mathematical concepts clearly and effectively.
* Monitor student progress, assess achievement, and provide constructive feedback.
* Create an inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel supported and able to succeed.
* Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum planning and interventions.
* Uphold high standards of safeguarding and student welfare.
Requirements for Maths Teacher:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
* Previous experience teaching maths at school level is desirable.
* Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire students.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
