About The Role Cornerstone Healthcare is looking for experienced and passionate Bank Sous Chef to join our award-winning team at The Burren. The Burren is a brand-new purpose-built service location South Bristol, providing high quality care & supporting residents with varying complex neurological, mental health & dementia care needs provided in a comfortable and safe living environment. Our approach focuses on individualised care, considering the whole persons unique strengths and challenges, rather than just the diagnosis. What do you need? Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a Chef Understanding of COSHH, Food Hygiene and Regulations surrounding food safety IDDSI/Specialist diet provision experience (desirable) Experience working in a care home (desirable) Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) What hours will you work? 10 hour shifts What will you be doing? Residents who live in our homes primarily have a neurological degenerative condition such as Dementia with an underlying mental health condition which makes them inappropriate candidates for dementia care homes or residential care homes for the elderly. We currently have 3 services based in Waterlooville, Curdridge, & Mytchett with 2 new services set to open in Bristol and Birmingham in 2025.
