Job title: Business Development Executive

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience) plus commission

We are looking for a proactive Business Development Executive to join our Eastbourne based client. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying prospects, building strong relationships with clients, representing the business at meetings and events, and converting leads into long-term partnerships.

Key responsibilities:
Develop and execute business development strategies to meet and exceed targets
Build rapport with clients through regular communication, trust-building and value-focused conversations
Network effectively at industry events, conferences and online channels to generate leads
Attend client meetings, present proposals, negotiate terms and close deals
Maintain accurate records of activities and pipeline in CRM and provide regular progress reports
Required skills and experience:
Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within a B2B environment
Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and long-term client relationships
Strong networking skills and confidence representing the business at external meetings and events
Comfortable attending client meetings, presenting solutions and negotiating commercial terms
Results-driven, self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
