MWH Treatment is looking to strengthen their Engineering team with a Mechanical Design Engineer for our Severn Trent framework. Based in the Derby Office, you will ensure that cost-effective, technically compliant, and buildable solutions are designed, approved, and handed over to the construction teams in line with programme expectations.

Your responsibilities will include:
* Produce cost-effective Outline and Detailed Mechanical Designs meeting client specifications, ready for purchase, installation, and commissioning.
* Produce and check all design deliverables including Specifications, Schedules, Drawings, and Calculations.
* Ensure designs comply with CDM Regulations.
* Utilize standard designs and practices wherever possible.
* Deliver design outputs within agreed timescales and budgets.
* Coordinate design outputs across all disciplines.
* Prepare monthly project status reports.
* Establish relationships with construction staff and supply chain to promote buildability and efficiency.
