* Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (08:30 – 16:30)
* Term Structure: Term-Time Only + 1 week (40 weeks total)

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and set up apparatus, chemicals, and equipment for practical science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
* Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment, ensuring all health and safety protocols (CLEAPSS) are strictly followed.
* Manage chemical stock levels, including the safe storage and disposal of hazardous materials.
* Support teaching staff during practical demonstrations to ensure technical precision and student safety.
* Routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment to ensure technical mastery of the department's resources.
Essential Requirements
* Previous School Experience: It is essential that you have worked as a Science Technician in a UK school or college laboratory setting.
* Technical Expertise: A degree or relevant qualification in a scientific discipline (specialism in Biology or Chemistry is highly desirable).
* Right to Work: You must possess the Right to Work in the UK. Please note that the school cannot provide sponsorship for this role.
