Responsibilities
* We are looking for a band 6 Clinical Sister/Charge nurse to join the Felix Holt leadership team
* Felix Holt is a 19 bedded stroke rehabilitation unit based at the George Eliot Hospital in Nuneaton and works closely with Feldon Ward at Leamington Hospital. It is part of the Stroke Patient Pathway.
* We provide specialist rehabilitation to those patients from Coventry and Warwickshire who require more intensive support after the early acute phase of their stroke and are medically not ready to return to their home setting.
* Within the unit patients will be under the care of the Stroke Consultant and will receive specialist assessment and treatment from ward-based nurses and therapists based on their specific clinical needs. The team includes Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational therapists, Speech & Language Therapists, Dietitians and Clinical Psychologists.
* Rehabilitation as an inpatient will continue while there remain nursing and medical needs that cannot be provided at home.
