Responsibilities
* Lead content strategy: Build and implement a content strategy and operating framework from scratch.
* Launch content creation: Write and oversee high‑quality content across white papers, blogs, web, thought leadership, and campaigns.
* Brand development: Lead the rollout of a new brand, ensuring consistency, creativity and strong visual identity.
* Social media: Manage paid and organic social activity, using insight to grow reach and engagement.
* PR & reputation: Shape a new PR model, support senior spokespeople and manage reputation and risk.
* Digital content: Optimize website content, SEO and discoverability to support acquisition and conversion.
* Collaboration: Work with colleagues, members and partners to identify impactful content opportunities.
* Leadership: Manage a Creative Designer and Social Media Manager, setting direction and standards.
Qualifications
* Bring exceptional writing and editing skills – content is at the heart of this role.
* Experience creating content within the healthcare space (e.g., white papers, blogs, web content) and a track record of developing content strategies that drive audience growth and awareness.
* Strong understanding of what works across digital and social platforms.
* Experience managing content, design or social teams.
* Brand development and rollout experience.
* Ability to juggle multiple projects, deliver at pace and operate confidently at a senior level.
* Comfortable building a function from scratch and adapting quickly in a fast‑moving environment.
Desirable Experience
* Experience shaping or launching a PR model.
* Knowledge of SEO, analytics and CMS platforms.
* Experience in a charity or membership organisation.
* Understanding of accessibility and inclusive content principles.
