About the job
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) aims to reduce fraud and error payments within Universal Credit (UC). Due to rising fraud and error rates, especially among higher risk cases such as the self-employed, and changes introduced during the pandemic, we have implemented a self-employed income and expenses checking process. This process includes partial reviews of live UC claims to verify payments.
If you want a career that positively impacts people's lives, a DWP Executive Officer role may be ideal for you!
