Role Information
The school is seeking a creative, technically skilled, and reliable Performing Arts Technician to support drama, music, and dance departments.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing technical support for theatre productions, concerts, assemblies, and events
* Operating and maintaining lighting and sound equipment
* Supporting rehearsals, technical runs, set changes, and stage management
* Managing equipment inventories, repairs, and PAT testing schedules
* Supporting classroom lessons with AV, lighting, sound, and equipment setup
* Collaborating with teaching staff to deliver creative projects and performances
* Designing lighting plots, sound cues, and production effects when required
* Assisting with props, costumes, set design, and backstage organisation
* Ensuring health & safety compliance in all performance spaces
* Supporting whole-school events that require staging or technical expertise
