Experience required…
Essential:
6. Good UK experience within a public, private or third-sector UK-based client
7. Experienced in the analysis, design, and assessment of all types of highway structures
8. Strong analytical and problem solving skills and a good understanding of structural behaviour.
9. Able to conduct structural analyses to assess the load-carrying capacity of bridges in accordance with DMRB standards.
10. Able to use behavioural understanding and experience to understand why structures may be performing better than assessments suggest.
Desirable:
11. Professional membership or demonstrable progress towards this
12. A full UK driving licence
13. Relevant design software/CAD/Civils 3D where appropriate
14. Experience of working on a wide range of bridge types including masonry arches, prestressed and post tensioned concrete, and various types of steel bridges
15. Experience of using LUSAS and ARCHIE-M
