This is a Permanent position and Coleman James Ltd are acting as an Employment Agency Role Purpose: To manage the commercial and financial aspects of construction contracts, ensuring that all project costs are effectively monitored and controlled from start to finish. Main Duties and Responsibilities: * Produce accurate interim valuations and assist in closing final accounts. * Procure subcontractors in line with programme targets and internal policies, including conducting pre-award meetings and reviewing warranties and contractual documents. * Oversee subcontractor contract administration — covering progress tracking, variations, daywork claims, defect resolution, and notices related to delays or damages. * Evaluate subcontractor payment applications and ensure timely payments, including issuing formal payment notices and applying any necessary deductions. * Agree final accounts with subcontractors and close out commercial packages. * Carry out on-site and drawing-based quantity measurements to support valuations and variation assessments. * Monitor and evaluate changes in scope and provisional sums to ensure financial accuracy. * Process weekly payments for labour and plant hire. * Track and manage materials costs across the project lifecycle. * Prepare internal cost reports, forecasts, and cost/value re...
