I am partnering with a top-tier global law firm that is seeking a Senior Conflicts Lawyer to join their New Business Intake team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team, play a key role in shaping conflicts processes and policies, and act as a trusted advisor to partners and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Protect the firm from risk by managing conflicts across international and US offices.
* Review, enhance, and continuously improve the firm’s conflicts processes and policies.
* Serve as a point of escalation for complex conflicts queries.
* Lead internal investigations related to conflicts.
* Provide guidance to the Professional Claims team on potential conflicts of interest.
* Advise on conflict-related clauses in bespoke client agreements.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of technology for managing conflicts and information barriers.
* Design and deliver training on conflicts for the wider firm.
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified lawyer with 5+ years’ experience managing conflicts of interest within a law firm.
* Strong knowledge of SRA conflicts of interest rules.
* Experience handling conflicts under international jurisdictions is highly desirable.
* Proven ability to deliver practical solutions in an international business environment.
