Our Story

Worldwide Events is the parent company behind two highly successful event brands: M&I and Private Luxury Events, each serving distinct sectors of the global travel and events industry.

We bring people together and facilitate strong relationships, connecting people on a human level first, business second. We call this H2H connection, and it is at the heart of everything we do.

At Private Luxury Events, we're not just creating events, we create moments that connect, inspire, and redefine luxury travel. As pioneers in crafting extraordinary experiences, we've been uniting leaders and trend-setters in the travel and events industry for over 20 years in unforgettable destinations around the world. Our experiences are where innovation meets authenticity, and where the next generation of luxury travel connections begins.

We're unveiling something extraordinary; a major new event designed for a new generation of travel leaders. More than an event, it's a movement redefining how innovation, experience, and connection come together in the global travel space. To make this ambitious vision a reality, we're assembling a team of innovators and creative disruptors who are ready to make a monumental impact. If you're a driven professional with a passion for pioneering new frontiers and building something extraordinary from the ground up, this is your opportunity to join a team that's set to revolutionise the industry.

The Role

We are seeking an ambitious and relationship-driven Senior Buyer Relations Manager (Regional Lead) to join our dynamic team at Private Luxury Events (PLE). Reporting to the Head of Buyer Relations, this is a key leadership role focused on driving buyer recruitment and engagement within a defined global region, while managing and supporting the Buyer Relations team members assigned to that region.

As a Senior Buyer Relations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding and nurturing our high-calibre buyer community across PLE's world-class event brands — Ultra, Private Luxury, TFest, Amour, and our new flagship luxury event. You will lead by example within your region, overseeing recruitment performance, coaching team members, and ensuring exceptional quality and relevance of buyers across all events.

While this role carries regional leadership responsibility, you will work closely with the Head of Buyer Relations on wider strategic initiatives, contributing insight, innovation, and regional intelligence to the evolution of PLE's global buyer strategy.

This role is ideal for an experienced relationship-builder with a strong commercial mindset, team leadership experience, and a genuine passion for the luxury travel sector.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Buyer Recruitment & Engagement

* Lead buyer recruitment efforts within your assigned region across Ultra, Private Luxury, TFest, Amour, and the new flagship event.
* Identify, approach, and secure senior-level travel advisors and decision-makers aligned with PLE's quality standards.
* Deliver on monthly and annual recruitment targets for your region, ensuring both volume and quality objectives are met.

Regional Team Leadership

* Manage and support Buyer Relations Managers and Executives assigned to your region.
* Provide regular coaching, pipeline reviews, performance feedback, and skills development.
* Set clear expectations for regional recruitment targets, activity levels, and buyer quality.
* Ensure your team adopts best practices in communication, engagement, and client service.
* Foster a positive, high-performance culture and encourage collaboration within the regional team.

Relationship Development

* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key buyers within your region.
* Act as the senior contact for high-value buyers, ensuring their needs and expectations are understood and supported.
* Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations to ensure consistency and alignment in buyer engagement.

Strategic Contribution

* Provide regional insights and intelligence to support the Head of Buyer Relations in shaping global recruitment strategies.
* Identify emerging markets, trends, and opportunities within your region.
* Participate in planning and development for the new event concept, ensuring regional needs and opportunities are represented.

Operational Excellence

* Oversee the full recruitment journey for your region — from prospecting through to confirmation, onboarding, and post-event engagement.
* Ensure your regional team maintains high standards of data accuracy and CRM management.
* Support event preparation, logistics, and on-site delivery for buyers in your region, ensuring they receive premium service.

Global Representation

* Represent PLE at trade shows, networking events, and hosted buyer programmes relevant to your region.
* Act as a regional ambassador for PLE's values — innovation, authenticity, and excellence.
* Strengthen brand awareness and visibility through high-level relationship building.

Requirements

You are a confident relationship-builder and a capable team leader with a strong commercial mindset and a deep understanding of the luxury travel landscape. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in connecting influential people and delivering exceptional experiences. To excel in this role, you will bring:

* Proven expertise in luxury travel, hospitality, events, or a related sector.
* Demonstrated ability in managing or leading team members, ideally within a target-driven or relationship-led environment.
* Proven success in buyer recruitment, partner management, or commercial relationship-building.
* A strong network of senior travel advisors and luxury industry decision-makers within your region.
* A consistent track record of achieving or exceeding sales or recruitment targets.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* High emotional intelligence and cultural awareness, essential for global luxury markets.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Confidence representing PLE at international events and trade shows.
* A passion for luxury travel, innovation, and high-end experiences.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
* Experience working with international luxury travel networks or hosted buyer models.
* Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and collaboration platforms like Airtable.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
* Experience enhancing engagement through digital sales or marketing tools.
* Understanding of luxury travel trends, buyer behaviour, and emerging markets.
* Additional languages relevant to your region are highly valued.
