Job Description:
Blue Arrow are recruiting Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to work for an international import/export company based in Avonmouth. The roles will mainly involve unloading the material from the containers, moving it to the warehouse as well as helping to organise the warehouse / storage facility. We are looking for experienced staff who possess a great "can do" attitude and can work successfully on their own as well as a part of the team.
Please note that there will be other roles coming up within this business soon so if you are potentially looking to process and perhaps lead a team or do some office work, this is a great opportunity.
The core hours for the role will be 7am till 4pm, however, there may be times where the client will ask you to complete overtime as and when needed so candidates will need to be fairly flexible.
The pay rate for the role is £14.50 per hour.
As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, your duties will include:
* Unloading containers
* Organising and moving products around the warehouse
* Manual duties as and when required
Candidate requirements:
* A valid RTITB or ITSSAR Counterbalance forklift licence (5T) obtained or refreshed within the last 3 years
* Previous experience operating counterbalance forklifts
* Good understanding or warehousing operations
* Good understanding or Health and Safety regulations
* Own transport to get to the site
