The Role – Associate Director - Ecologist As an Associate Director, you will collaborate with technical specialists, mentor junior team members, and engage with clients to provide expert advice. Lead a team of excellent ecologists from graduate to senior level in Manchester Collaborate with the Sheffield ecology team on projects across the north of the UK Own the financials within the Manchester ecology team Lead and deliver ecological surveys, including protected species & habitat assessments at sign off stage. Manage ecological projects from inception to completion Support and mentor junior ecologists, fostering growth and sharing your expertise. Contribute to business development by building relationships with clients and identifying new opportunities. Engage with multidisciplinary teams to deliver nature-based solutions that leave a lasting impact. You will be an experienced ecology leader with a solid understanding of UK environmental legislation, habitat assessments, and protected species surveys. Experience required: Degree in ecology, environmental science, or a related field.
