Your Role as a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant
In this role, you’ll support children with diverse learning needs by:
* Providing 1:1 and small group support in and out of the classroom
* Working closely with teachers and the SENCO to adapt lessons and resources
* Building strong, positive relationships to boost children’s confidence and emotional wellbeing
* Monitoring progress and helping to plan and deliver targeted interventions
* Encouraging independence and a love for learning
Who We’re Looking For
This opportunity would be ideal for someone who:
o Has a 2:1 degree or higher in Psychology, Education, English, Maths, or a related subject
o Is passionate about supporting children with additional needs
o Brings a calm, patient, and empathetic approach to their work
o Communicates clearly and works well in a team
o May have experience working with children or young people (e.g., tutoring, coaching, mentoring, or volunteering)
