Credit Controller
Location: Bromborough
Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum + bonus scheme
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (fully office-based)
About the Role:
As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely cash collection and minimising business exposure to bad debts. Reporting to the Head of Transactional Services, you'll manage customer accounts, handle queries, and maintain the highest standards of customer service.
This position requires an organised, customer-focused individual with a proactive approach to resolving issues and meeting targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring payments are received within agreed terms.
2. Maintain accurate records, ensuring no delays in issuing invoices or statements.
3. Build strong relationships with customers to resolve queries efficiently and provide exceptional service.
4. Handle high volumes of outbound calls to customers regarding payments.
5. Process card payments and manage direct debit mandates through internal systems.
6. Conduct statement reconciliations and produce work-in-progress reports for effective communication with stakeholders.
7. Address any issues promptly, escalating concerns to the Team Leader as needed.
