Job Summary: Automotive Paint sprayer
We are seeking an Automotive Paint Sprayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint coatings to vehicles using specialised spraying equipment and techniques.

Responsibilities:
* Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning and masking to ensure proper adhesion and smooth finishes.
* Ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the application process.
* Operate and maintain spray painting equipment, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety protocols.
* Apply paint coatings to vehicles, ensuring even coverage and smooth finishes while minimizing paint wastage.
* Monitor and regulate paint application settings, including pressure, temperature, and humidity, to achieve optimal results.
* Conduct quality inspections to identify and address any paint defects, imperfections, or inconsistencies.
* Adhere to safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff members.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer or in a similar role.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
* Understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to paint application and equipment operation.
* Follows good safety behaviours in the workshop
* Should be able to use and maintain air-fed respiratory equipment
* Experience in using an air assisted high pressure paint spray gun
* Knowledge in anti-corrosive /anti-rust treatments
* Maintenance and fault-finding capability of equipment related to the spray-painting operation
* Work to agree output targets and deadlines ensuring the quality in every part
* Flexibility according to the shopfloor demand
Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing various ad hoc duties as assigned by management. These duties may include assisting with supporting production.
