Job Description
3. Manage and monitor rent accounts to ensure timely payments and minimise arrears.
4. Communicate effectively with tenants regarding payment plans and arrears recovery.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records related to property income.
6. Assist in preparing reports for the property department on income collection and outstanding balances.
7. Work collaboratively with colleagues to resolve tenant queries and disputes.
8. Support the implementation of income recovery strategies and procedures.
9. Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations in all income-related activities.
10. Provide excellent customer service to tenants and stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Income Officer should have:
11. Experience in income collection or financial administration, ideally in the property sector.
12. Knowledge of rent collection processes and relevant regulations.
13. Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
14. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
15. Proficiency in relevant software and systems for financial management.
16. A proactive approach to problem-solving and resolving tenant issues.
