Job Title: Social Care Consultant – Children's Residential Services
Location: Remote (travel across the South East)
Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 per year (including performance bonus)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Do you have the vision, resilience, and compassion to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people? We are seeking an exceptional Responsible Individual to provide leadership and oversight across multiple children's residential homes in the South East.
This is a pivotal role, offering the opportunity to influence practice at a strategic level, uphold the highest standards of care, and inspire teams to deliver outstanding outcomes for children.
What You'll Do
* Provide strong leadership across several residential homes.
* Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and the Children's Homes Regulations 2015.
* Support and mentor Registered Managers to deliver consistently high-quality, child-focused care.
* Champion safeguarding, embedding safe and robust practices throughout all services.
* Lead Ofsted inspections with the ambition of achieving 'Good' and 'Outstanding' ratings.
* Foster a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement.
* Oversee budgets, staffing, and resources to ensure efficient, sustainable operations.
* Build effective partnerships with local authorities, social workers, and regulatory bodies.
* Drive staff development, training, and performance management initiatives.
What We're Looking For
* At least 3 years' senior leadership experience in children's residential care (essential).
* NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to achieve).
* In-depth understanding of Ofsted frameworks, safeguarding, and Quality Standards.
* Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
* A genuine commitment to putting children first.
* Full UK driving licence (essential).
