We are exclusively recruiting for a unique Travel Consultant role with a difference! This Bespoke Travel Agency believes in providing highly personalised service through their team of remote Travel Advisors, who leverage their knowledge and personalities to understand every individual's travel needs, whether big or small, simple or complex. However, creating and booking itineraries is just one part of this exciting role!
The successful Travel Agent will be responsible for proactively generating business to book with you through personal connections, networking, marketing, and social media. If you are a self-starter with extensive experience in worldwide reservations who prefers to go out and get clients rather than wait for inquiries, this is a truly unique opportunity for you!
Offering a competitive basic salary circa £26,500 to £28,500 plus commission, incentives, and the chance to be an integral part of a growing travel business.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Create and tailor make bespoke holidays for your clients.
2. Generate new revenue streams and sales through lead sourcing and development.
3. Promote services via social media to increase customer engagement and sales leads.
4. Organise in-person promotional events such as pop-up shops and showcases to increase business exposure.
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
6. Assist with daily operations, including liaising with customers about changes and amendments.
7. Perform administrative duties accurately following company processes.
8. Participate in training for personal development.
9. Work towards individual and team sales targets.
10. Manage leads effectively from generation to conversion.
11. Proficiently use social media platforms.
12. Maintain enthusiasm and a positive attitude, contributing to business growth.
Experience Required:
1. Minimum 4 years' experience in a travel sales role.
2. Proven track record in sales.
3. Excellent knowledge of travel products and tour operator systems.
4. Genuine interest and experience in long-haul destinations.
5. Possession of a full driving license and access to a vehicle.
6. Ability to attend in-person meetings in Solihull every few weeks, ideally Midlands-based.
Package:
1. Salary: £26,500 to £28,500 + 7% commission on profit per booking.
2. Hours: 40 hours per week.
3. Days: Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend or bank holiday work.
4. Annual Leave: 28 days including 8 bank holidays.
5. Incentives: Rewards, vouchers, free nights, and other incentives from suppliers.
6. Opportunities to attend FAM trips, training events, and rewards programs.
