Job Title: Head of Sales
Salary: £80,000-£90,000+ company car
Hours: Full Time – Monday to Friday

A successful Construction company is seeking an experienced Head of Sales to lead and optimise national sales performance across a diverse portfolio of products and services.
Reporting directly to the Group Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the sale of Heavy Plant Equipment, both new and used including in the established patch.
About your new Head of Sales role:
Set and execute the national sales strategy
Drive sustainable revenue and margin growth
Lead a multi-region sales team
Build a high-performance, accountable sales culture
Embed robust pipeline management and forecasting disciplines
Grow and retain major national and commercial accounts
Work closely with Operations, Finance, and Marketing
Provide clear, data-driven performance insights at executive levelWhat the new Sales Manager will need to succeed:
Product knowledge within the Plant or Construction industry & previous area sales experience in a similar role
Experience leading large, multi-region and/or multi-product teams
Excellent communication skills, face to face and over the phone
Target driven, self-motivated and present a professional image
Ability to influence and persuade to close a deal
Experience managing major national accounts
Strong commercial judgement and executive-level presence
Confidence operating in complex, solution-led sales environments
