Information Security Consultant - Transformation
6 Month Contract Opportunity with Opportunities for Longevity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and incorporate functional and non-functional security requirements and controls that align with our clients' policies and standards, security best practices, and regulatory and business security requirements, embedding them into designs and project scope, ensuring alignment.
* Provide guidance and input to business analysts, architects, and project managers to ensure solution designs and projects are secure by design.
* Support projects through formal tender processes, feasibility phases, design phases, implementation, and validation phases, including risk assessments.
* Review of design documents, perform threat modelling and risk assessments, incorporate security non-functional requirements, and be a standing member of the Technical Design Authority.
* Serve as the Security touchpoint for Business Analysts and PMO projects.
* Produce in-flight project functional and non-functional security requirements and embed them into existing processes.
* Assist with maturing security processes.
* Ensure evidence of security assurance activities are collected and retained to support regulatory inspections and audits.
* Conduct post-implementation / pre-go live auditing of initial requirements for cloud-based projects, verifying that the delivered solutions match the design proposals.
* Provide support across all Security Team functions.
