The Classic Prop Hire Company, which includes Classic Modern, Number Eight and Seasons Textiles is a major prop hire group who are leading suppliers of props, textiles and set dressing to the film & TV industry.
We are currently looking for someone whos efficient, practical and doesnt mind climbing a ladder to join us as a Loading Bay Operative in our Seasons Textiles loading bay.
You would work closely with the Loading Bay Team Leader to effectively manage and execute the day-to-day running of the stock dispatch and return process.
Responsibilities & Duties
Carefully prepare and pack orders for dispatch
Unpack, check & return orders back into stock, reporting any discrepancies
Help keep stock organised and well presented
Ensure both the loading bay and broader warehouse areas are kept clean and tidy
Assist Classic Prop Hire, Classic Modern and Number Eight loading bay teams with additional ad-hoc tasks when necessary
Qualifications & Skills
Must be physically fit and capable of regular manual lifting as the picking, packing and dispatch of our products requires manual handling of products weighing up to 25kg.
Very comfortable working at height
Be well organised, adaptable and proactive in a busy role
Be an excellent team player
Have great communication skills
Have an enthusiastic can-do attitude
Have a high attention to detail
Have a good understanding of IT systems

Ideally you would have
Previous experience of furniture delivery/removals/art packing. An understanding and knowledge of statutory compliance requirements within a loading bay.
