Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Lead the development of preliminary and detailed designs for overhead line projects, including associated equipment such as foundations, conductors, conductor systems, and structural elements Prepare, check, and submit design documentation including Design Intent Documents, Design Criteria Reports, and analysis reports, with supporting calculations Record and manage design data and decisions Work alongside and support senior engineering staff Maintain awareness of relevant legislation, particularly Health & Safety and CDM regulations Review engineering documentation for feasibility and compliance with client requirements, supporting accurate project budgeting Ensure designs and construction practices align with current legislation, policies, and operational requirements Review method statements and risk assessments, liaise with construction teams, and support implementation of designs throughout project stages Mentor junior engineers Collaborate across teams and offices to deliver integrated solutions Support development of internal policies, procedures, and QA systems Undertake additional duties as required by management Primarily office-based, with occasional site visits requiring adherence to health and safety proceduresQualifications and Experience: Qualifications Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline A-level (or equivalent) in Mathematics Work...
