Key Responsibilities
- Provide visible, inspirational leadership to the care team, promoting a culture of compassion, dignity, and respect.
- Ensure the home consistently delivers high‑quality, person‑centred care in line with regulatory requirements and best practice.
- Maintain full compliance with CQC standards, policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
- Lead, motivate, coach, and develop staff to achieve excellent care outcomes and professional growth.
- Manage occupancy levels and support the home's continued growth and success.
- Oversee recruitment, retention, induction, supervision, and performance management processes.
- Effectively manage budgets and resources while maintaining exceptional standards of care.
- Build strong relationships with residents, relatives, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote a positive quality‑focused culture.
- Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are fully understood and embedded throughout the service.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Care Home Manager, or Deputy Manager ready to step into a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, care standards, and residential care operations.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Passion for delivering exceptional resident‑focused care.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards this if required).
