PPC PAID SEARCH SPECIALIST - D2C SPORTS PERFORMANCE WEAR BRAND

( UK, EUROPE, USA)

CENTRAL MANCHESTER - HEAD OFFICE BASED ROLE

Join our dynamic and innovative team as a Paid Search and PPC Specialist, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of A-Game, a sportswear brand based in Manchester's Northern Quarter.

Job Description

As a Paid Search & PPC Specialist, you will play a key role in managing, optimising, and scaling performance-focused eCommerce campaigns across Google, YouTube, and Microsoft Advertising to support A-Game’s growth objectives. This is a hands-on role that requires a candidate with strong technical expertise and commercial awareness, capable of taking full ownership of our paid search strategy within a highly competitive market. You will be responsible for driving measurable improvements in efficiency and revenue through strategic funnel architecture, smart bidding, and continuous optimisation.

You will lead the planning and execution of end-to-end strategies aligned with eCommerce objectives, including new customer acquisition and revenue growth.

This includes owning keyword research and match type strategy, managing Google Shopping and Performance Max campaigns (including feed optimisation and product segmentation) and implementing structured testing frameworks to improve CTR and Quality Score.

A deep understanding of conversion-led activity is essential, as you will manage smart bidding strategies such as Target ROAS and Target CPA to improve key commercial metrics and scale investment effectively.

Collaboration will be a core part of the role, as you will work closely with creative teams to develop YouTube ad formats and iterate on ad copy that reflects AGame’s tone of voice. You will partner with content and brand teams to ensure alignment across organic and paid channels, reducing keyword cannibalisation while amplifying seasonal launches and sale events. You will be expected to remain at the forefront of platform updates and betas, managing relationships with Google and Microsoft account teams to ensure A-Game remains a leader in the search landscape.

The role involves a heavy focus on data-driven analysis and reporting. You will be responsible for daily campaign operations, budget pacing, and audience segmentation (including RLSA and customer match) to drive full-funnel efficiency.

You will produce regular, insight-led reports and presentations to inform internal stakeholders of performance, learnings, and next steps. These insights will be used to evaluate campaign success, inform future strategy, and identify further opportunities for growth across our Shopify environment.

Staying up to date with industry trends and competitor activity will be essential to maintain a competitive edge, particularly within the fast-moving fashion and activewear sectors. You will monitor industry best practices and contribute innovative ideas to strengthen brand visibility and drive long-term advocacy.

This role requires a proactive mindset, strong technical organisation, and a genuine passion for performance-driven sportswear, search strategy, and digital culture.

Please note: Due to the time zone difference with China, UK working hours are 7:30am - 4pm. We do not offer WFH flexibility.
