Job Title: Senior Office Administrator – Housing Sector

Salary: £25,000 + (DOE)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts (no weekends)

About the Role
Swift Placements are working with a Bradford-based client in the housing sector who are seeking a reliable, organised, and proactive Senior Office Administrator to join their team.
This is a key role within the organisation, supporting day-to-day office operations and providing vital administrative assistance to the housing team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organised, and able to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact, greeting and assisting office visitors.
* Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner.
* Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence (emails, letters, packages).
* Coordinate appointments, meetings, and calendars for directors.
* Prepare reports, documents, and presentations as required.
* Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
* Maintain office supplies and equipment, including placing orders when necessary.
* Organise maintenance of office facilities.
* Support the planning of company events and team activities.
* Maintain accurate filing systems (electronic and paper-based).
* Update and manage databases and records effectively.
Requirements
* Previous experience in office administration, office assistance, or a similar role.
* Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks.
* High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Experience within the housing sector is preferred.
* Minimum GCSEs or equivalent (English & Maths desirable).
* Valid driving licence (preferred).
Experience
* Administrative: 3+ years (preferred)
* Housing sector: 2+ years (preferred)
